ABOUT US

3 Little Fish (3LF) was established in March 2018 to provide solutions that addresses issues currently being faced by the aquatic industry. 3LF works with partners around Asia to provide pioneering and sustainable solutions that ensure our customers’ aquatic ecosystem success, through products that support aquatic animal health and farm production efficiency. Our products work towards the improvement of animal performance, in an economically viable way.

3LF has in-house expertise with over 30 years experience combined. These expertise include fish and shrimp health management, hatchery and grow out culture experience, providing consultancy advice for aquatic ecosystems management and aquaculture methods. 3 Little Fish works together with environmental consultancy partner to achieve their mission to assist private companies and government institutions in the sustainable development of aquaculture, fisheries, lakes and reservoirs, oil and gas development and nearshore coastal environments. Below is a list of consultancy services which 3 Little Fish is able to provide:

General Environmental Consultancy

Aquaculture production and hatchery site selection, carrying capacity and sustainability modelling of coastal embayments and lakes.
Preparation of Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
Advice on regulation and management in the setting of environmental standards.

Who we are

Sugania Vijayan

Owner & General Manager

Sugania Vijayan has a M.Sc. in Aquatic Biology from USM. She worked in sales as a product specialist for 2 years as she completed her Master’s thesis. Enroute to starting a career in research, she had a change of heart and entered the aquaculture industry, providing artificial spawning solutions for tropical fish within the region. Within 5 years, she spearheaded the company she worked with, turned it into a multimillion enterprise and increased their client base to cover countries such as Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Africa.

Erin Tan

Managing Director

Erin Tan studied Biotechnology and Fish Parasitology (BSc Biotech {Hons.) UM). She obtained her Masters in Science (Zoology, majoring in fish health and parasitology) from University of Guelph, Canada in 2005. She is active in the Aquaculture Industry and is the Secretary General of the Malaysian Aquaculture Development Association (MADA) 2021-2023. She is also a lifetime member of the Malaysian Fisheries Society (MFS) and a member of the Asian Fisheries Society (Disease Section).

LOGISTICS & REGULATORY EXECUTIVE

Satiaseelan is a Versatile Inventory controller with extensive experience over 17 years in Inventory, Warehousing and Logistic with proven track record of ensuring a smooth warehouse operation through accurate recordkeeping and handling of all logistic matters.

Extensive cross-functional expertise in IT, customer service, purchasing and materials management. He is a resilient, determined, and detailed character with the presence and personality that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a company’s logistical operations.

Nur Shima

ADMINISTRATOR

Armed with a degree in Physics and 6 years’ experience in administration, Shima joined 3 Little Fish Sdn Bhd as an administrative and accounting exec. She also handles the same for 2 other companies under the same directors. She is proactive, quick to respond and detail oriented and is the go-to support personnel for our staff. Now she is the backbone of 3LF and runs a tight ship while juggling multiple tasks calmly and efficiently.
